my birthday

31st October was my birthday. On Thursday... ish...
how I wish it is Saturday or Sunday so that I can celebrate it more "excitingly" hahaha... However this birthday is really memorable 1...
Coz my bf bring me to Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe to dinner, then his mom cook "mi sua" & red egg for me (traditional food for birthday celebration) plus she gave me a present - pearl pendant (very pretty).
Most surprise thing is my bf's nephew bought me a birthday cake! (my favourite mango flavor & is a Bread Talk cake! Nice!!!)

Why So Few Holiday?

I wonder why so few holiday here...

I still remember when i work in Malaysia, there are AT LEAST 1 day holiday in 2 months time. AT LEAST you know... Sometimes maybe more...

Just past the Raya holiday... Now have to wait for Deepavali... If I am not mistake, I think Deepavali already change to 27th October 2008 which is Monday (I like it!)

Speaking of Hari Raya, I just attend a party that day, eating KFC & Pizza... Makes my throat feels extra not good now... I think maybe I ate too much that day...

Opps... the title suppose to be holiday... Ok... That Raya day, me & my bf went to East Coast to ride bycycle... Hahaha... So funny... I used to ride bycycle a lot when i am home... Not that special also... But away from home since now, this is the 2nd time i ride the bycycle... At beach some more, the feeling is quite good actually coz you can feel the breeze.... Plus that day was super good weather, no big big hot sun at least...

At the party, we watch "4bia"... quite ok de... It's about 4 ghost story, not ghost actually, more to "curse"... Quite scary in some part... But wat funny is when you see other ppl scream like hell & use their hands to cover the eyes... Hahaha....

i heard a funny joke when i saw marathon for the beijing olympic tv show yesterday.

my bf said, " aiya... no need to c 1... marathon sure the black ppl win 1... every year also like that 1...

Miss you so much...

I've been in Singapore for 1 year + 2 months liao... So far i really like this place, bacause this place is clean & safe... Rearly see rubbish around & i can put my wallet on the table while i am having my lunch outside...
But sometimes i really miss my home alot... miss my mom alot... i went back once a year (1 week) on last CNY... i can really feel the difference between these 2 places... my home - so cold at night... the wind blow soft & go to every corner of the house... so refreshing... the water from the pipe... freezing cold... then i can see kids playing around in front of their house or riding their bike in a group... Weekends we went to waterfalls or riverside... having fun & catching fishes... the life there is relaxing...
Here in SG, everything is "standard"... adults go to work, student go to study, after school stay at home playing computer, gameboy... the country is well organised...
When i am little girl, i like to play marbles with my neighbour... we got a big space in front of our house, so we just draw a circle on the sand, place some marbles inside & start the game... or we ride our bike go around the town, feeling the cold wind goes across our face... or look at the star at the night, play with some candles... days going so easily when we have so many things to do...
Miss my hometown alot...

Will You Donate Your Organ?

Will you agree to donate your organs after death?

I will... In fact I think of doing this since I was in secondary school... Even now i still think i'll do the same thing...

Yesterday i told my bf about this but he don't agree & don't allow me to do this. I am kind of confuse why he don't allow. Well, he said he don't want my body not "COMPLETE" after i died... Then i do explain back to him, "u c, after i died, my body is just sent to burn & you'll only collect my bone ash also... Since my organs being burned just like that, i rather donate it to others who may need it..." & i never thought what i am thinking is wrong... I think this is quite meaningful, at least i can help someone else...

Organs is so precious, but after i died, i can't use it anymore... So i think maybe my organs can use by others... Eyes, heart, kidney.... & others lar.... Sure i can't imagine myself without my eyes or my heart, but if i was died, i can't c also wat! So, y not? But what i can image, if i am died, maybe my heart is still beating, my eyes is still watching... in other people's body... i think that is quite good...

I haven't told this to my mom yet, dunno what will she act... But i think i'll do this also...

Ms. C! Do u know what means by BEFORE? BEFORE is not BY!!!!
Earlier on i told u the customer needs the installation BEFORE friday means thursday, wednesday, tuesday, monday.... Do i need to flip the dictionary & put it in front of your desk to show u wat BEFORE means????? If u already put it in tomorow's scedule then tell me u already put it in lar! y wanna tell me, what we mean before friday is including friday. Then wat means BY? BY friday means including friday! u know English or not????

Y u hv to said some more, OK lar dun argue some more, next time if u wanna say like this u arrange the schedule yourself & explain to the customer yourself. RUDE!!! u know wat u said or not?

So next time i am going to tell u "BEFORE THURSDAY" so u can understand, or i'll tell my customer, my colleague dunno wat means by BEFORE. She take BEFORE as BY. Is it wat u wan Ms. C???
